Race 1 Rosa Osiria ran ok in KZN and if fit must have a chance here. Mrs Shackleton is a moderate 4yo but has been consistent of late and should be in the mix. The first timers do not have to be stars to win and probably one of them will pop up.
race 2 Fencing Captain is game and should be in the mix. Krim flopped in the soft, but must be respected here. Cork Bay good debut and is my narrow first pick. Scottish Links good debut and could win despite tough draw. Bagatelle Flash is well exposed but has shown enough to include in quartets.
Race 3 Some well bred first timers warrant respect. Special Glamour and Champagne Kisses the best of the raced runners, with a preference for the former. De Vlugge can run into the money.
Race 4 Sir Korski good debut and my first choice from a good draw. Zeitz also good debut but a more difficult draw. Crescent, Mystic Majesty, Scottish Kiss all have claims.
Race 5 I am in the camp of Double Dash, but this is a strong race. Wild Applause is the one to beat, and Tuscan Romance has top form but a tough draw. Berry's Boogie decent debut and could improve to feature.
race 6 Open race . Hang out the Stars fair recent form. Fly to Rio can follow up recent win. Upset quite possible.
race 7 Boundless Energy is my first pick in a tricky race.. One Liner and Please be True are also on the up. Das Gute is a hard knocker but I expect one of the 3yos to win.
Race 8 Omikami good debut win but a stiff rating and returns from a break. Jou lekker Ding and Dark Winter are decent 3yos and must be repected. She's My Captain and Great cat are hard knockers that will test the youngsters at the weights.
Race 9 Open Race Pentolina a narrow first choice, but plenty with chances here.
race 10 Dubbelosix is my first choice but again many with chances.

Cork Bay was green and switched to the inside first time out .... much more room for improvement today...5/1 is a decent price.... or 9/10 first three???? Mxothwa and Crawford look to have a few really decent chances.... I included ALL their runners in the p6
