Still has not really rained - some of the biggger guns stepping out - why only 8 races ? Thoughts .... last week inside draws proved worth a few lenghts ....
R1: Looks a 3-horse contest, well-bred Warning Sound finding market support, so could be the right one - value for inclusions in trifectas and quartets is Takeyourbestshot imo
R2: Small field, I fancy Rainy Season
R3: Mountain High no value imo - and I don't see why Jilted is the same price as Wearingofthegreen - W needs to improve a lot in her 2nd start to trouble J
R4: Ultra-competitive Handicap, at the odds I fancy Hawkbill from Scarlet Pimpernel
R5: Who knows? I think Bob is onto something with Mercantour, while I think the main danger is Beating Wings
R6: Gimmeanothechance best rated on earlier form, but that last run ..... I see he tries blinkers, so could produce his best form and then it would be no race, despite having not drawn ideally; Fatal Flaw looks well in (if taking out Gimme), but I prefer the stable mate Tale of the Comet from a good draw - outsider Slinky Mapimpi well drawn and could surprise imo
R7: Competitive Handicap for the females - Avoontoast had problems in her last start and is my fancy from Apache Fighter who has won at this track
R8: Hat's Queen does stand out a bit on form, but is drawn a bit wide, as it the case with One Religion, whose jock in her last start got the pace wrong, so must have a chance as well; Have a Party fair form, but has not won for 520 days, so Mary Read who tries the trip from a fair draw is probably the biggest danger to HQ an OR
