JULY 2025 ANTEPOST

What would the ante-post July price be for next year's July?, there has been some support for it in the Met, was 50/1, now 16/1 - if it wins the Met, then it would probably open favourite for the July.

I would say 20/1.
2 runs 2 wins, still a long road, but based on runs he can qualify easily for the big one.

20/1!!! - (for the July) never. For a 3 year old to win the Met, it's got to be more than special, the weight does not favour him. Assuming he does, probably open (for the July) at about 7/2 - 3/1 for the July. Assuming he wins the Daily News, probably shorten into 12/10 - 1/1.


 

Apart from the noise, why would you take less than 100/1 if he was priced up today?  He's won a maiden and a MR74, hard pressed, by 0.5L with Safe Space 4.5L off receiving a KG of a 72.

Morning all from a wet and wild durban, level 5 warnings today.

DM a well known tipster when pressed on the same question , suggested 20/1.

I asked Lance Michael for 50/1....MILLION/R20 000
He came back to me and wouldn't budge from MILLION/R30 000

Some might say i don't respect money to take this bet, however in its first 2 runs , I've won R125 000 on this horse, so that was my speculation and hence calling it a fun bet.

Now for some banter,
there were a few clanners who responded to my call.

Now Bob, you dont like it and 1000/1 was speculative to say the least, but here's for your contribution, ill put R10000 into 2025 july day competition if the horse just gets a run, by then i should have traded a sizeable profit.
