For me the best bet on the card is, race 4, Powerandtheglory. Here's what happened on Wednesday, WSB opened this horse at 33/10, within say an hour, adjusted into 26/10. Later that evening, checked what the betting was, the horse was now 4/1. Hwood priced up yesterday and Powerandtheglory was priced up at 7/2. WSB are now trading at 33/10, personally think this horse was and still is over-priced.
Race (4), Powerandtheglory – best bet on the card for me. Taking on mostly older horses, and the other 3 year old in the race, Surge Of Power, whilst higher in the ratings (than Powereandtheglory), that was achieved over spring distances. Besides, he has to concede 3.0kgs to Powerandtheglory. Must feel off the weight, 53.5kgs, Powerandtheglory will take some stopping.
Race (3) Snow Pilot – well in at the weights. Looking at the field, respectfully, there is no One Stripe in the race. From a decent draw, feel if they repeat the front running tactics, he will hard to peg back. Snow Pilot’s biggest danger, second run after the rest syndrome. Still make him the one to beat.
