This is a beast of note. Well done to all the connections. Striker effortlessly got to the the winning post - a supremely impressive coup1.

Sad to hear the Dingaans is now a grade 3 event. No longer a grade 2.

What a phenomenal filly, cant believe there is such limited media coverage of this filly, the owner, trainer and the back story. Here is an opportunity to showcase the best two year old SA has seen in decades.

Which other two year old has won the Alan Robertson/Gold Medallion 1200m G1, Golden Horse Shoe/Slipper 1400m G2 (Previous G1), Premiers/Thekwini 1600m G1???

One can only be happy for Mr Kalil and wish him all the best with this absolute "lightning strike" filly.

Unless I am mistaken,  she was only given 2 merit rating increase for that win? Makes her only rated 2kgs better than our filly Just Reckless? I know we beat her giving her weight at Scottsville and should have beaten her in the Alan Robertson if we had just kept straight but she really looks like she has improved immensely in the past few months.

Disappointed,  me too. As an appie, my dad won this race in the early 1930's on a horse named Vegkop.

She is now a 115 - which seems about right  ?

She has to be the best 2yr old we have seen in 25 years unless there has been a filly or colt that has won those 3 races in a season. She also proved on Saturday that the form from the Thekwini Fillies G1 is the stronger formline.

I just think that she deserves exposure on all platforms for what she has already achieved, it is not often that these horses come around.
