Calvin Habib has broken his collarbone. Will be out for over 6 weeks. Such bad luck for a good jock!!

Another jockey down at the finish. Johnny G indicated that Craig Z seems to be okay. 2 jockeys in 2 races. Must be something wrong at the pull-up area.

Not sure if it was only bad luck - as racing continues - but one would think that the jocks will know what area to avoid ....

Tracks need to be assessed pro-actively. There has been a tendency to let everything deteriorate until FUBAR before any renovation. Jockeys tend to complain about the bends and the pull-up areas...so why aren't they retro-fitted progressively. Sometimes its just a gradual application of top dressing that is required.
