Rest In Peace Aga Khan

From Racingtv

Such sad news that His Highness, the Aga Khan, has died at the age of 88.

He was a true friend to our sport, who owned and bred some of the greatest thoroughbreds of the modern era. He celebrated success with genuine joy and took defeat with good grace. He leaves a tremendous legacy to European Flat racing, which he has supported with so many good horses in Britain, and more recently in Ireland and France.

Rest In Peace Aga Khan.

A legend of the thoroughbred world. From Shergar to Zarkava, he had champions.

Even Igugu traces her line to Mumtaz Mahal which the Aga Khan family owned.
