Tom Dick and Harry can punt πππ
3 months 2 weeks ago - 3 months 2 weeks ago
Good evening, punters.
Good news is that I should be able to start driving again as fromΒ Β tomorrow and have an early school run.
Its actually started pouring with rain again so hope the weekend weather does not further disrupt racing π€
We have a strong card this Saturday at Turffontein, with the Horse Chestnut Stakes as the standout race.
Saturday Selections:
Main Defender (15/10) will be the one to beat, but my each-way pick is Lucky Lad 10/1 (15/10 a place).
Spumante Dolce vs. VJβs Angle should be a competitive clash, though itβs a pity Quid Pro Quo isnβt running.
Elegantrix should get the punters off to a good start after an impressive debut.Β
PE Friday:
The Fourie-Greeff combination should dominate as usual, but the lady trainers can give them a hard time in early exchanges.
Zietsman has a few runners worth adding to your exotics.
El Romiachi makes his 106th appearance, a remarkable achievement.
Greyville Friday Night:
Unfortunately, another meeting falls victim to heavy rain.
We haveΒ been informed by the NHRA that in an attempt to be more proactive they are going to allow Tom, Dick, Harry and jockeys to punt but only via the "Tote".
It was the intention that Sean was going to put a FORTUNE on a runner on Friday night for Easy and the team.
Watch this space for updates π
On the forum scene:
Social media traffic remains high, though Donald continues to dominate discussions.
Tote decreases and discrepancies remain a serious concern.
Disappointing news for Sean Veale, but an insightful interview from Easy.
NHRA pending cases require urgent attention.
Cheltenham Watch:
The Champion Hurdle remains a key talking point, with Constitution Hill looking supremely confident. Will the mares take him on or opt for the easier route?
To wrap up, hereβs a classic clip from Rowan Atkinson:
Good punting.
