The guy is noted on the NHA income statement as a major earning stream...they can never ban him as he earns so much for them....at some point he needs to realise he's wrong...
......but was he and Eldin Webber wrong in weighing out with the incorrect saddles in the presence of a NHRA official manning the scales in this latest debacle....and what of that official.... why was he not also named reprimanded and/or fined.....pity that I could not access the thread here that actually detailed this matter....instead of singling out only Gates under this thread as NHRA were also not as specific as to him also being on a wrong horse going down to the start on that day....

The decision by the review board to throw the matter out indicates that the NHA realizes that there was a breakdown in the laid -down procedures,
and that their own officials were not blameless – in fact they were probably negligent to some degree.
