It’s Women’s Day today – here’s hoping all the ladies will be looking wonderful this evening as you treat your partner to a well-deserved meal.
Scotia is improving day by day, the steps are coming along nicely, and despite the chilly weather, we soldier on.
Today is Shergar Cup day at Ascot – always a tough card to crack. Tenability might be the closest thing to a banker, and the ladies tend to shine on this day.

Later tonight, it would be wonderful if Isivunguvungu can deliver its best in the States (21:45). Beach Bomb also runs two races later – fingers crossed 🤞.
I’m still watching far too much TV, but it does help me sleep 😴 – Mobland has been great, and Harry really is a handy man to have around 😉.
On a less cheerful note, some of the domestic crimes in the news lately are heartbreaking 🫣.
On a happier note, the YouTube music on the big screen has been brilliant. I started with my favourite artists, and the recommendations that followed have been fantastic.
It’s hard for me to pick a single favourite, but many years ago, I saw CREAM live and fell in love with Eric Clapton’s incredible talent. Through all his ups and downs, he remains one of the greatest guitarists ever.
