R1) Penny's Choice, the Marshall yard should have a line on Marketa who was beaten by another Marshall inmate, viva La Vida.Blinkers fitted, hopefully it does not make her too keen as she seems to run up with the pace. She could blitz the field if the going is soft where she keeps rolling.
R2) Beach Verse, appeared a little outpaced and battled to quickened in her last start. Should appreciate the extra, draw a bit of a worry in a small field, hopefully Love Her Madly sets the pace.
R3) Sugar Mountain should win this off similar weight conditions as in his last race.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Light rain falling from 10h30, but hopefully will get through the meeting.
Agree with Bayern the first 3 races, although race 1 could be tricky with some lightly raced improvers.
race 2 dangers to the favourite are Lebombo Gold and Cloud Clearing.
race 4 pretty open. Pentolina gets the fillies allowance and a nice draw so could beat the boys. Baton Rouge is in good form.
Race 5 Our filly Golden Angel is well weighted here and gets a good draw. Happy Verse is a class youngster but has a lot to do at the weights and not helped by the draw.
Race 6. Very open, and the fillies must be respected with the weight advantage. Our filly, Golden Ideal has a low weight and is distance suited, but is a couple of kilos under sufferance. Hoping for a place.
She's My World and October Storm look the two to beat.
Race 7 I don't understand why some of those fillies running in race 8 are not in here for double the stake money and getting a fillies allowance. Quite open. My short list is African Prince, Azzurri and Mont Loisir.
Race 8 Another tricky race. Wild Applause and Girl Like Us are my picks.

The feedback is that the track is now inconsistent and unsafe for racing.
Today's racemeeting at KENILWORTH🇿🇦(16 AUG 2025) has been ABANDONED.
I was out and about and was totally amazed that that we not racing.
The ground is saturated on the side of the road when u drive around but I would exect much like the golf courses drainage systems would take care of that.
