Re: TURFFONTEIN SATURDAY
1 day 3 hours agoKARATE KID wil be very hard to beat
ARGO ALLEY and HOTARUBI should both fight it out here
DESTINY OF FIRE is the 1 for me but HIERKOMIBOKKIR and STARS AND BRA'S can upset
GREAT NOTION is value in an Open race
CIAN THE CONQUEROR is the LS of the day while PLUS FOUR should go very close
In the last rave i added COMMAND PILOT amd PRESSONREGARDLESS into everything along with the above mentioned 2 picks....Swings.ex.trf with the 4 of them boxed cant hurt either

Challenging meeting for punters - thoughts ...
R1: Small field - will depend on the pace and whether Key Worker stays the trip - I'm guessing she will stay and will run down Moment and Breeze Over
R2: First-timers look fancied, but will look at the betting closer to the off; of the raced runners Midnight Flyer should be a banker in the BP; Empress Wu should be thereabouts and looks good each-way value; I see Elvis horse has shortened from 45/1 to 14s - who knows ?
R3: One-horse race it would seem
R4: Competitive; Sheldon looks good value for the first two from pole position
R5: Competitive again; really liked Fire N Flames last time and should be better this 1600, so good chance even though he needs to beat Argo Alley on their last meeting; not mad about Money Heist, but the Peter stable not to be ignored
R6: Open - I'm souding like a stuck record (for those that remember records) - but It's Personal looks a fair price; I think it is open though and even Clairwood Rose could surprise having feature form behind Greef's runners
R7: Hierkommiebokkie would be an apt winner and has done well this track and trip from a good draw; Across the Pond returns from a break and anyone's guess if she would need it; most have chances though
R8: My best each-way comes in Golden Aspen - has many beaten on form and finally has a good draw; again it seems open though as even On A Jet Plane should finish in front of Cape Saffron on their last meeting
R9: As per the betting, many have chances; Plus Four has pole position so should go close; Cian the Conqueror should match PF on their last run, but Cian has a bad draw; Potberrie very cabable and not to be ignored from a good draw - but luck in running for those drawn wide will be needed.
Enjoy

Van Vuuren asking Nhlapo in the ring if he has a chance as if he didn't know anything about the horse...do these trainers think we that stupid?
Check the betting....
3 Banyan 25.00 20.00 16.67 10.00 7.14 5.56 5.00 4.55
4.00 3.57 4.00 4.55 5.00 4.55 5.00 5.56
6.25 7.14
Does he want us to believe they only backed it after the jockey said they had a chance?
