Interesting to hear Duncan Howells mention the "old" Polytrack vs the "New"...
Sean Veale, vastly under-rated jockey, has made his mistakes, but he's a good balanced natural with a racing brain...IMO

I dislike it when there is lots of kick-back...a lot of horses detest it, and will always try to stay away from it....puts them at a disadvantage, especially if they are slow starters

People tend to associate the green grass with a good track...My personal feeling is not so...
I feel that tracks were better tended in the past, I think they use too many fillers nowadays, cheap is good in financial terms.
IMO, look how many horses that are not in form cause a lot of kick back, I surmise because of their choppy actions.

I also feel that better markings of the distances will suit the jockeys riding...no furlong indications that I can see on the Polytrack... How do the jockeys time their runs or measure their fractions/speed?
