CAPE TOWN - SATURDAY

I suppose that the worst kept secret in town is that ....  Corne Orffer   is  NO LONGER THE SABINE PLATTNER stable jockey.

looks like they are prepared to FLY Moodley into the CPT meetings.

He could have a few winners on Saturday.

The "safe" play for the day :-

R7) Anotherdanceforme x (R9) Viva's Liberte

Getting a little more adventurous by adding :-

R8) Garrix (for the treble)

Then into the unknown as a double :-

R4) Prince Of Egypt x (R6)) Sohot Sowhat (w/w) (pl 4/pl 4)
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I like this. I'll take a cover with Red Palace though who should be a danger if close to fit, maybe exactas with Garrix.

Also boxed Symphony in White and Candy Town R6.
R5 Master Redoute 4/1 win looks good.

Not an easy card
First 3 races lots of unexposed horses.
Race 4 Object D'Art has been costly to follow  but should win this. However, he has to give weight to Sicily, Prince of Egypt and Sunshine Superman so an upset possible.
Race 5 Triple Time has match fitness and a good draw; Master Redoute is the class stayer but a big mass; Congressman still has improvement to come. Time for Love tries this trip and if she sees it out is also a runner.
race 6 Very open
race 7 Anotherdance for me and Quickstepgal had good hometown preps and are the top two. Princess of Gaul disappointed last time but has lots of scope for improvement. The lurker is Lowveld Lily at any price. She ran a cracker as the only 3yo against top older fillies last time when badly out at the weights. She is at least MR 104 on that run, and probably better as she didn't get the best of starts and then was impeded in the straight. If she jumps on terms, could be the surprising best of the Snaith runners.
Race 8 Sugar Mountain disappointed last time and the trainer comments were very hesitant, but he is the class horse. Magic Verse is match fit and not too far out at the weights. Garrix returns from a rest but must be respected. Promettere and Zeitz are in a similar boat to Magic Verse. Red Palace returns from a long break, but is a talented mare.
race 9 Some useful 3yos, and not much between Beware, Note to Self, Captain's Alliance and Viva's Liberte.
Race 10 Fast Train has a tough draw but has the best form. Greenchoice should be in the shakeup.  Super Viking can improve to fight it out. The older Konnichiwa could give the youngster a go.

Agree that worth folowing Nel/Moodley today

Race 1 = 11.6 million worth of horses take up the challenge to win 83k 1st prize. I will sit this one out
Race 2 Another race to sit out. Bi Pot 2/11
Race 3 Another race to sit out. Spurious- what i call all my ex wives.
Race 4 Prince of Egypt weighted to win.
Race 5 Congressman
Race 6 Candytown runs well after a rest . Artiste my preference
Race 7 Such an exciting race. 2,7,8 all very close on form. Another dance is the hearts choice but Quickstepgal is the one i will be with
Race 8 If Garrix is well Garrix wins
Race 9 Viva Liberte to much weight. Muscutt runner my choice
Race 10 Top 5 in betting can all win it.
