Why is the Strelitzia & Godolfin Barb stakes being planned for a Wednesday mid-week meeting???

Who buys a horse to run in mid-week features??? Treat the races like they are not important and people will behave according. Maybe only CPT racing is important

It just amazes me that when the game is in trouble, small fields, low rated racing with non events that you would run small feature races during the week. Did everyone at nationals fork out money for this?

Just makes no sense at all...
