Workers Day and big Weekend

Good morning Clan,

It’s Worker’s Day, and what a feast of sport and racing we’ve got lined up this weekend.

Punchestown brings us the final day of the festival.
A tough one yesterday with Kopek Des Bordes falling when looking the winner 😢

Still, Willie Mullins looks well set to finish the week strongly with a potential treble:
Dinoblue, King Rusco Grey and Lossiemouth.

Over in the US at Churchill Downs, it’s a huge weekend with the Kentucky Derby and Oaks.

In the UK, all eyes are on Newmarket for the 1000 and 2000 Guineas, alongside quality racing at Ascot and Goodwood.

Closer to home, we’ve got the WSB Guineas Day from Hollywoodbets Greyville — a top-class card not to be missed.

Plenty of links and interviews are live on the site, so be sure to check those out.

On the football front:

Arsenal must beat Fulham to keep the pressure on.
Newcastle look due a win.
And of course, the big one — Manchester United vs Liverpool.

Up in Scotland:
Hibs vs Celtic — we’ll be hoping for a bit of “Sunshine on Leith” this weekend.
Hearts vs Rangers is the standout fixture, and a Hearts win would be massive.

Champions League:

A cracking tie between PSG and Bayern Munich — but the big question remains, could Arsenal beat either of them in the final?

It goes against the grain to back Hibs, but we might just need their help this weekend.

And if all goes to plan with flights and health, we’ll be in Edinburgh next weekend — so best stay in Bob’s good books 😉

Good punting and enjoy the action.
