Worked for a big corporate bank and one of my responsibilities was to see to the daily live streaming from Head Office to our campus site for promotions and live broadcasts from the CEO etc.....i was given ZERO training on how to operate all the equipment but was chosen because of my technical background from my previous job and being a part time DJ( believe it or not)
The contractor came out and showed me ONCE how to do it and what to do when the link failed etc....5 minutes training, off they went.
Long story short, 15 years on the job, had a couple of glitches here and there but made sure all redundancies were in place and tested in case our main link failed.
This is now the second time this has happened even before the race meeting has started. Have they not learned from the last episode? Diabolical!!!!
