In a way you are correct.
But I will say this, I feel all the groups are like the legs of a tripod - cut one and...
The problem you get when one group thinks it is more important than the others is like the jocks soon to be claiming that all of them must get the 42.85% higher stakes share that the self elected few get.
Now this comes right out of the pocket of the owners, and they really do have a reason to cry in my opinion. You tell me one industry that could put up prices by 42% in the current climate.
Ofcourse, it may just be a rumour...

Now you have me worried!
To be deputy dir of SARS in 1985 i.e 25 years ago ,at what age 25? one would have had to have some special connections A broeder for sure.
Then financial dir of Gants which I believe went belly up and were liquidated about that time or a bit later possibly.
Golden Rule for and old Jewish client of may years ago.
Mein boy never do business with an unlucky man!

Here we go again. Potentially massive pick 6 pool at Ken and we are being shown a R49,000 quarter in Mugabeville and the race is halfway through.
Shaheen gives it a mention fair enough. 6 minutes to still get bets on. Mugabe racing needs to take a back seat on days like today - feature race day. They should have scheduled Zim with tomorrows KZN in meeting which may even be cancelled due to weather.

Why they not showing Borrowdale Jackpot - Showed Turf quartet hmmm turf is P country.
Not going to harp on anymore - but something you should take note of during a GC meeting. In a few weeks though when these posts are gone and forgotten. They do read this after all

Cat, I know you keep telling us that you are not against Jews, yet you insist on making reference to them in a negative fashion.
What's up with that?
Do you really want to get into a religious discussion on the validity of self responsibility of Jews versus Catholics?
Us Yiddles don't have the luxury of the confession booth and must live with our actions.
It is much tougher to be a Jew than a Cathoic from the point of view of living with one's conscience.
The positive influence, now and in the history of the Turf, of Jews is well documented.
Knock off the Jew baiting for chrissakes.
The mere fact that you need to mention it is proof enough of where your sentiments are.
Personally, I am sick of it.
Please stick with people and refrain from religious baiting.
You make good points. However your comments about Jews and saints serves only to blunt them.

Mr Irwin, please relax, the cat was referring to a Noseweek article which (perhaps ridiculously) suggested that the hon Mr Jooste was a yid

OK, then I will give a special Papal dispensation to the Cat to only blast Jews when it comes to M. Jooste. It is only fair, after all.
