Good morning from a sunny Pretoria, and where did January go? They say time flies when you are enjoying yourself.

Well as far as health, still having a problem cutting back after the festive season, but Mrs S. is doing well (as if she needed it?). I have however been into the "green tea" it does taste funny with a shot of JWB, but does make you regular, have not missed the happy hour at the Dros this week.

You guys must remember that next Saturday is Valentines Day, and I have arranged something special and when I told the beloved that I was taking her to the track on the special day, cant repeat the reply on the site!
I was given an invitation by I'SIZWE and Phumelela to attend a Valentines Day raceday with Graeme "Joffers my boy"Joffe, Graeme "Mr Racing" Hawkins and Tony De King, so should be a good crack and look forward to the normal 5 star spread from William, Scott and the team.

Clan Classique should run again on Tuesday on the sand, so hope for a good run, have a nice picture on the home page from Mr Kenny the race track photographer, who incidentally took my first photo in April 1983, over 25 years ago, Mucho Hombre, Robert Maroun and Armondo Freddie!

On the ante-post market, still waiting for the July? but in the U.K. a few of the lads are going to Cheltenham and Binocular remains 16/10 for the Champion Hurdle, nothing better than 4/10 for Master Minded and the big clash, Denman 2/1 and Kauto 3/1 remain unchanged.
Denman does make his reappearance this weekend, weather permitting in the Aon Chase at Newbury and if the health problems have gone, 6/10 should be a good price.
The Oaks and Derby have 8/1 favs with the very promising Rainbow View and Crowded House topping the boards.

Have had some great contributions to the Forum the last week and "tote bet cancellations" an interesting topic, would like some feedback from Phumelela if any rules/regulations are in place?

Good punting and may your God be with you.

Is Mr. Kenny still at it!

He took my (or rather my wife's) first picture as well.

Jan 1976, Cool Down and Stephen Jupp

And 1/2 hour later, Jet Plane Juppup (T Lange)
