SHOT LUCKY AS MOOD CALLS IT A DAY

I would like to thank LUCKY and all concerned in giving Mans Mood a great racing career at his stable,it was Luckys first ever winner when he became a trainer.My partners Jess,Neil,Nadine and myself were just about to throw the towel in when we decided to give Mans Mood his last run,before making a final decission on this horses career.Lucky took over the reighns and it was surelly a hungry young trainer that could get the best out of this gelding as he was very mediocre.needless to say Mans Mood did us all proud and proved us all wrong as he strutted his stuff to 6 career wins and many places,unfortunetelly due to injury we have decided to call it a day on this proud Soldier.We have decided to let the horse stay at Luckys stable to keep a watchfull eye on, them and hopefully one day he can be a top riding horse for the kids since his got the temprement of his owners.Shot Lucks.

Nice to know the horse has a 'retirement home'. The dismal fate of many ex racehorses is one of the most unpleasant aspects of this game, shot guys.

Thanks to Lucky and Natalie for keeping Mans Mood in their (our) home in his retirement. We know the ol' soldier will be well looked after.
We can still visit the lad, share some carrots and have a social chat.
The Mood epitomises what aspects of racing are about, character, courage and loyalty.

Yea the ol faithfull is going nowhere,he belongs right here.I learnt alot from him,and he always came to my rescue in family feuds,when i was told how can i run him over so far,how can i run him so close,he proved my experiments right.
Oh nearly forgot,he doesnt like the vaal.He He it was a great ride working with him.
It was great to be able to give Dzimi,George,Neil and Nadine such fun times.
Every win i had with this horse,from the first which was my first till the sixth,was right up with all the great feelings ive had in racing.
