Scotia on the weekend.

Good afternoon to all and the bad news is that my drinking partner is on leave this weekend, so its a 750 gram T bone and a lekker dope(now R65) without "easy".

The background is, that apart from this evening we also have a big birthday bash on Sat. and easy said no problem, he will miss the school camp function with his daughter.

He goes to see the headmistress, to tell her about his prior arrangements, but before he can say a word, she says "sit down and don't interrupt me, your daughter will only have 2 main memories in her life in connection with her father 1) when you walk her down the aisle 2) the bonding with her dad at the school camp.
So easy is going camping, and in addition has been appointed the camp master,(the one with the whistle), so he is running about organising things for the kids and other parents, lol.

The classic is that he has gone and hired a luxury caravan for the weekend! I did not want to ask him if it has a plasma and tv games? Some of the other parents objected and easy replied by saying his daughter has slept in a tent before, but never a caravan so it will be a special memory to bond with her dad in the caravan.

The man is a legend!

Racing at the big T, will try and get over before the party, but will be there next week for the Guineas, in addition Kenilworth.
Big race in the UK is Kempton where Big Fella Thanks can win under Ruby Walsh, then the Grand National to take on my fancy Butlers Cabin.

Not much moves at Cheltenham where the a.t.c. is Binocular,Master Minded, Kasbah Bliss, Voy Pos Ustedes and Kauto Star.

Plenty rugby, where the Crusaders and Sharks look the likely winners of the super 14 and this weekends games should go to Force,Reds,Brumbies, Bulls and the Sharks, but handicap bets will be the way to go.
The six nations will not be fought out by the early favs England and France and will probably be Ireland and Wales.

United would appear to have the league at their mercy, 2/1 for the Cup, 9/20 for the Carling, and 11/2 second fav behind Barcelona 4/1 for the Champions.

I have been criticized for not having much to say about local ante post racing, and with 7 days to go, can anyone tell me the betting on Dancers Daughter and Gypsy's Warning? Makes you think!

Good punting and may your God be with you.

Scotia.

Just switched on the tv and they are racing from Kranji and a horse just wins called "EASY", at 20/1, was that not an omen? I am off to have a shot or 2.
