Winter season feels like it begins today with a couple of nice races tomorrow. Will be a true measure of the 3 year olds ability from which we can measure for the rest of the season or will it be warm up runs?

BCL and On her Toes look the choice at the weights or according to MR at least. BCL meets unbeaten Target Aquired and KZn's great brown hope Lord London. Polished Steel also a threat if ready. Only Le Drakkar, Oracy, Cerise Cherry and Forest Path missing to make this the battle of the 3 year old titans

On her Toes should not lose but if she does it may be to Nightstalker. Would normally be A Cocoa Beach fan but Hotline posted that she may need the run. Would not rule her out of placing

Personally, I don't think On Her Toes is the mortal lock the odds would suggest. I consider her to be vulnerable, because she wants to run 7 or 8 furlongs, and she just had her speed dulled by having a hard race 3 weeks ago over 9 furlongs. But the filly does get the services of Anton Marcus and that could save the day.
