You stick the horse in level weights or on better terms than most and it wins. Dtaryton out by 11 or so KG GET TO WITHIN 2 LENGTHS.
Dancers Daughter in the week much tougher test. River Jetez should beat her at the weights.

I am happy that Pocket won a race on his own outside of the Cape (no dead heat). He's now almost done it all

THE mighty Pocket Power served notice that he is the one they all have to beat in the Durban July with an electrifying return in the Winona Pinnacle Stakes at Clairwood on Sunday.
The 7f conditions race, laid on especially for him, was the South African champion's first race since his third consecutive J & B Met win nearly three months ago and he started second favourite behind 7f specialist Our Giant, who went off at 4-5.
Anthony Delpech set a hot pace on the former Tommy Stack-trained Drayton and Bernard Fayd'herbe settled Pocket Power in fifth. He moved him up early in the straight, without much apparent effort, and the 6-4 shot strode into the lead a furlong out. He won with his ears pricked, easing up, and comfortably accounting for Our Giant, with Drayton a close third.
Trainer Mike Bass, pleased with his stable star's performance, will now bring Pocket Power back to Clairwood for the Grade 1 Gold Challenge over 1m on June 13 before going for the Durban July at Greyville on July 4. Pocket Power dead-heated with Dancer's Daughter in last year's Durban July.
The British-bred Dancer's Daughter has been declared to run in a 7f conditions race at Clairwood on Wednesday but trainerJustin Snaith is more likely to stick to his original plan and wait for the Gold Challenge.
His brother and assistant Jonathan said: "At the moment Dancer's Daughter is a doubtful starter on Wednesday," while his father, former trainer Chris Snaith, added: "It's a hell of an ask at the weights."
Dancer's Daughter is set to concede nearly 18lb to River Jetez, who was receiving just 4lb when only three-quarters of a length behind her in the J & B Met.

I would take the 3/1 now if available . What a turn of foot. Made the rest look so weak including Our Giant .
