Bananas are the way to go. JUst hope for a cyclone but make sure your farm is well prepared by stringing trees together and picking minutes before it strikes then you can command the price and not the co op. Seen plenty of farmers go out of business when the warnings came "the cyclone will never hit my farm" last famous words. They then came to work for us as tractor drivers and pickers and packers. Supply the world with bananas and you wont go far wrong

I remember mainframe computers required staffs of programmers and operators in white lab coats just to keep them going. The mainframes had to be carefully managed.

Networks changed everything. Server based networks saved money and in the long run seems to be a lot more energy conservative. Even though you cannot call your PC your own at least you have more control over it.

ON THE TOPIC OF MAURITUIS and our local jockeys..

the jock's are treated like GOD in mauritius..
when they walk into a supermarket..hotel..bar.....all the staff goes stupid..all they want to do is speak to the jock..be seen with the jock..hear what the jock tips..
in RSA...the reverse...DOG..all the guys want to do is !@#$%^&*() them....

I punt R50 and R100 and just for the fun of it . My wife does the claiming not me.
My bookie laughs at me , says I must have more balls cause I make R5000 a month
from my R50 and R100 bets . That R5000 which I make every month from the last 5yrs
as accumulated to R300000 odd rand which goes straight into 3 trust funds for my children.
I punt anything 2/1 upwards and my wife punts everything into evens . I am more smarter then her cause she win R20000 and lose R18000 and she think she's good.
I have over 60 horses and a few imports arriving soon yet I don't even punt them , I buy and race for fun not as a income.
Many see me as their enemy yet I am a simple family man who made a few bad decisions. Who hasn't ?
I only post on this forum because I get bored sometimes and need to get away from work and BEE .
I love golf , stock exchange and a good wine. I constantly have numbers running around in my head even when I'm sleeping , My Psychiatrist says I was born like this.

Young chaps when you young chase the career and not the money !! The money will come in time, trust me I talk from experience. And when you get the money USE it wisely .
