Mother Russia to De Kock

I find the fact that Mary Slack has purchased this horse and moved it from Joey Ramsden to Mike De Kock very puzzling.

Joey has done everything right with the filly and the fact that she is not going overseas makes it quite alarming.

Joey has had her from an unbroken 2 year old and now she must leave the Cape Town for Gauteng. I would envisage that the best race a future mare could win would be the Cape Paddock Stakes which I am sure she will be aimed at,but now she will have to travel from Gauteng.

I fully understand that the new owner has the right to do what she wants, but if I was Joey I would give the Wilgebos yealing a miss at the sales.

I hear they renamed the horse Front Of House

MDK will win the november Turfontein big race with this horse..
Then the Met...
Who knows then the July...
to me it makes sense...

what is the prize money on those 3 races...

Joey has trained a few for Slack - Lex was one.
It is rather strange as Harris points out- She is not material in my book for those three big ones mentioned by Andrew - quite small in stature and I believe she should be campaigned carefully henceforth.

Joey learnt the ropes from MDK so not too far behind him in ability to produce winners

MDK different training program..
quite small in stature will do..less weight to carry...go to the front...foot flat on the board...last 400 meters..pull the wip, once twice..keeps finding more..

Joey Ramsden...buy new horses...does a greate job..well received by the public..
