Brandon Morgenrood case

I read in Ken Nicoll's piece in the SP about Greg Cheyne going off to Hong Kong that reminds us that Mr Cheyne was involved in that unsavoury (was it Mark Lifman?) incident some 9 years back.

Strange if one plots the way life has turned out for the two jockeys - Brandon Morgenrood now right out and warned off after possibly naively admitting to everything and Cheyne taking a six month suspension and turning his life and career around.

Its a cruel world some times.

Heard someone say the other day, that it would be interesting to see what effect flying the likes of Marcus, Strydom, Mienie and a few others down to CT to ride would have on turnover. I think it's no secret that turnover on the Cape meetings seems to have fallen/stagnated.

Mienie retired few years back. so not so exciting rather send our farrier.

find another territory...this is ours...back off....
