Winter Fever

An ex South African horse Winter Fever just won a mile handicap in ice cold of Wolvehampton at 40-1. Not so long ago the 6 year old got the measure of Art of War and Summer Cup winner Smart Banker over a mile at Clairwood.

I wonder if Neil Pretorius and Mug Maree are even aware of this.

James Eustace must have an affinity for SA horses, War Artist is in his stable as well...

LOL we were talking about him a couple of weeks ago,sure he lead and finished last but was only beaten a few lengths..fuck never notice him running!

He was work companion for War artist for a while if i remember correctly..

He was 200-1 in running, I had a few each way at 40's but 200-1 would have been nice, I was too busy screaming him home to notice!
