Ride on Scorpion King yeasterday flamingopark

Any comments?

Jock looks behind him at 200m mark and sees another horse coming slowly at him. Why not just ride horse out to the post. Did the look behind cost the horse the short head it lost by. When he saw it coming after slowing down and looking behind he gets a fright and starts riding hard again only to get pipped at the post. Was his momentum slowed down slightly by looking to see how far ahead he was?

Annoys me to hell when the best horse doesn`t win the race, have to accept it when they have been unlucky in the run!

Hard to take when they get mugged!

Have to agree with both of you that was not good to watch a bunch of us saw the race and could not believe it. Scorpion king should have won by at least half a length. Interesting to see stipes report. Robie Hill will be watching with interest.

There has to be an inquiry into the riding of that horse otherwise it will set a very sad precedent..unacceptable!
