A good run from the Lizard may see him in the World Cup race?

They're facing the likes of Godolphin's Cavalryman (125), the Japanese mare Vodka (120), and last years World Cup runner up, Gloria De Campeao (120). A good run against that lot must put them in the big race picture, I would think.

She didn't do all that well in Dubai last year. She started out with a 2 length 5th to Balius on Super Thursday, then followed up with an 8.75 length 7th to Gladiatorus on the big night. Upon heading back to Japan, she reeled off 2 Gr1 wins, a couple of place, then another Gr1 win. The year before last, she had the one run in Dubai when 4th to Jay Peg by 1.75 lengths.

De Kock duo to miss Super Thursday card

A PAIR of Mike de Kock's stable stars will miss the Super Thursday programme at Meydan.

UAE 2,000 Guineas winner Musir, originally declared in Thursday's Al Bastakiya, was scratched on Tuesday evening.

The Listed trial for the UAE Derby features the return of Godolphin's Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Vale Of York.

Contrary to expectations, De Kock did not declare Eagle Mountain for the third round of the Maktoum Challenge, where Arc third Cavalryman makes his Godolphin debut after leaving Andre Fabre.

Correct Sabre, form not exceptional but has won 7.5 M in GBP? not sure if that is a record for a filly/mare?

I am sure Cigar holds the record

Hi Bob was not sure.

Probably need Magic

Curlin broke Cigars record for highest racehorse earnings

But on the filly/mare side Makybe Diva 14 M Aus or 12 M usd, Vodka 7.5 M gbp, Quija Board not sure and maybe others?

If anyone can add?

::oBelieve it or not they had torrential rain in Dubai on Tuesday. Shouldn't affect the Tapeta but the grass took a big soaking. Good test of its drainage.
