manonthecatwalk race 2 clairwood today why was it allowed to run

manon the catwalk was carded to run on the 3rd of july last week..it was scratched from that race and i quote the sipes report for that meeting....SCRATCHED MANONTHECATWALK...UNDER VET TREATMENT..DR M ROWHER IN TERMS OF THE RULE MANONTHECATWALK IS SUSPENDED FOR A PERIOD OF 12 DAYS[SFR}....i got no idea what sfr means but 12 days means the horse should only be eligible to run on the 15th of july and not the 11th of july...could the stipendary stewards please explain

Pirates - I think you'll be surprised how often this happens.
I think there is a sub-rule that does all the rule above to be over-ruled

....these rules are constantly being broken....just a bit of arse licking and to have the all mighty backing you and all it takes is a simple phone call and Bob's your uncle
.....time to level the playing fields and apply the rules fairly and squarely....:)o

Hi Pirates have been on the road but did get a call from Rob De Kock a report will follow from the stipes, however SFR = suitable for re-instatement.
If a horse has a minor injury or an update from a vet within the 12 days they can let the horse run.

last yeat it was hidden nest and this year its manon thecatwalk...it seems like the trainer and the vet can do whatever they please ....mediocrity continues
