Derby and King George hero Adayar runs at Sandown R3 today.

King-owned and unbeaten Slipofthepen is still on target to run in the Guineas on Saturday week the same day as the coronation.

There are two Gr1’s at Punchestown and three Gp races at Sandown today.

Following yesterday’s legislation British gamblers could be required to pass affordability checks on one of two forms of risks before being allowed to punt again. Some of the thresholds for each risk are:
1. After losing an equivalent of R2,500 per month; and
2. Losing R20,000 in one day.
Something like a FICA but including details like court judgements, age, cash flow, etc.

Just to wrap up the Punchestown festival

We had 12 grade one races and Mullins won 9 and came 2nd in the other 3 😁 👏

There is a Group 1 at Longchamp today.

Bay Bridge who beat Baaeed in his last run is the favourite and the mount of the world's best, Ryan Moore. Vadeni its main rival is my selection though.

Last year’s Epsom Derby ante-post fav, Luxembourg, races in R6 at the Curragh today.

For the first time Frankie Dettori rode the winner, Vero Atleta, in the Italian 2000 Guineas yesterday.

1000 Guineas ante-post fav, Tahiyra, is still on course for the race.

So too is the AP fav for the 2000 Guineas Auguste Rodin.

The unbeaten King-owned Slipofthepen will not run in Saturday’s 2000 Guineas the same day as the coronation.

Royal Ascot trials will be held Wednesday.
