The British Horseracing Authority will launch a new ‘premier tier’ of racing between 2-4pm on Saturday afternoons. Amongst other initiatives ‘Premier tier’ will have a schedule of the top races that will mitigate clashing of most English Premier League football matches.

The decision on whether to supplement Passenger for the Derby will be left late.

Sadly, Mary Slack’s Claymore ran a real shocker in Desert Crown’s race yesterday.
