The inner track at Ascot may be used if the heavy rain hits the course on Champions day this weekend.

Highfield Princess will sidestep the Breeders’ Cup in favour for the Hong Kong Sprint in December.

The much-loved staying chaser Snow Leopardess has been retired.

The ante-post favourite for the Champion Stakes at Ascot Saturday, Horizon Dore, looks something similar to Ace Impact, the Arc hero. Horizon Dore, a 3yo French trained, has won 6/8 and unbeaten in last four.

Ten from twelve, incl the hero in two Champion Chases, Energumene is likely to be out for the whole season.

Due to forecast heavy ground,Tahiyra, five from six, may not run on Champions Day Saturday.

One minute your up and next you are down.
I got the HK PA a few times yesterday and that has set me up and now today that my favourite Cheltenham horse ,Energumene is out for a year.
He;s going on 10 so may have seen the last.
