Firstly, many of you will have seen that *ELWASME* (6/1-11/2) is back out today in the 1.50 at Newmarket. He was disappointing last time when only managing 4th at Southwell, but the fact of the matter is Andrew and the team fully expected him to win that day and the form took a boost yesterday with the 2nd winning at Newmarket. Simply put, on homework he should be winning but there's still a nagging doubt as to whether he's holding something back for himself. Well worth a small each way bet however and I've done

3.00 Newmarket - *BLANCHLAND* (7/2-10/3)

Jane has given us some fantastic winners over the last few years and this horse was one of them when winning nicely at Newcastle back in September. He's expected to make up into a very smart three-year old this season and the 9f trip around here will suit him. He has some valuable course form in the book having been a good runner-up in the Zetland Stakes on the Rowley Mile last year when coming up against the much more experienced Flying Honours who got first run on him that day. He arrives here in great order and although a competitiv renewal of the Fielden Stakes, he has the best form in the book and looks a more than fair price for this. Jane and the team are confident of a big run!

4.45 Newmarket - *SILVER LADY* (6/4-11/8)

For our second bet we go to what promises to be an informative maiden here at Newmarket today and make no mistake - this three-year old filly is very much felt to be one of Charlie Appleby's best! Her work has been electric and although she can be a headstrong filly at home, she'll be handled carefully down at the start and is one to keep on side this year! If all goes to plan this afternoon both before and during her race she'll take plenty of beating.
