ASCOT DAY TWO
1 year 11 months ago
Good morning all after a magnificent first day at Royal Ascot.
I thought it would be better to start a separate thread as the original is rather busy.
Just touching on day one, this was a spectacular event and a pleasure to watch from the presentation, interviews, build up, parade ring etc.
It was just world class, then we had the magnificent horse flesh, great training feats and superb jockeys in action.
My R128 Jackpot paid R3500 ish.
The best bet arrived, Vauban and I should have taken an ante post for the Melbourne Cup.
We did say the Frankie was expected to be the main attraction but I did recommend that Ryan Moore would be the man to follow.
Obrien is now the leading Ascot trainer.
Moore will probably pass Dettori in the next few days to move into second behind Lester Piggott for the greatest Ascot jockey.
River Tiber was a great ride from Ryan.
Highfield Princess objection was superb to watch with the transparency from the board room.
Paddington will certainly enjoy his marmalade sandwich this morning and is one to follow over the next few months.
Obrien has some serious horses to follow and he just keeps churning them out.
Ahorsewithnoname was special to watch considering she is in foal to Cracksman.
Vauban stole the show and what about the combination Moore/Obrien/Mullins going forward.
I must say I don't have the same enthusiasm for today's card but will watch every minute of the production.
Let's just say it's not a punters card IMO.
We must not give up on Frankie, considering he was also given a suspension for his ride on the Kings horse.
Today a R256 jackpot for interest
1,2,4,6
3,6,7,10,12,13,17,21
5 banker for Frankie
1,3,5,11,12,15,17,26.
Plus Scotland won last night 12/10 half time/full time on a very heavy pitch and long game ........best they have played in years👏
We also have an abundance of info for the July .......on the site.
Good Punting 👍

1 year 11 months agoMostahdaf ran like it had 5 legs 🦵 😉
Scintillating performance.
Won well in Saudi Arabia. Mostahdaf then ran 4th to Equinox in Dubai. Equinox broke the course record that day without being pushed out. Equinox looks like will give the Japanese their first Arc win come October 2023.
