CHELTENHAM DAY 4 GOLD CUP
1 year 2 months ago
Good morning all as we reach the final day of a wonderful festival.
We have had it all, from the highs of the Mullins stable to a come back from the Brits .
We had Sir Alex and Harry Redknapp overjoyed leading in their winners.
I took the Henderson double at 7/1 and felt fairly confident that I was going to collect until BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD was beaten by Golden Ace.
I was able to pull back in the last when Molly told me the fav was very hard to beat. I must say what an exciting race to watch and Derek O,Connor gave the JP McManus horse a peach of a ride.
So the bottom line is that the kitty is still intact going into Gold Cup day and this will confirm if I can beat the bookies over the four days?
I have taken the double today with GALOPIN DES CHAMPS and DINOBLUE at 4/1.
In addition a couple of exotic suggestions
PA
Will pay well but you will have to play heavy to catch and expect a couple of bombs in the first three races and the last leg also very open.
Jackpot

R23 maybe play a few times or add to the third leg.
Good Punting 👍

Much as forecasted it has been steady rain all week.
It is very much a question of stamina from now on in and this is a very tough card to get involved in.Up to now I am in front due only to my PA's
Mullins I see is now giving the second half of his stable a run.
I don't believe this Gold Cup is any stronger than last year.and Galopin de Champs looks the part.
Reading Tommy Wrong (R3) and It's On The Line(R5) can win
Good viewing and punting.
