Just in from work in time to watch last. Liked the look of the American horse no. 8.

Coltrane in the Gold Cup is my value on the day @ 12/1 , stable is in hot form and this one should run really well 

Gilded water wins 
Naval Force eachway 
my fancies in the King George 

Whistlejacket race 1 wins 
Qirat eachway race 5 
Taraj eachway race 6 
My other fancies on the day 
Gonna be a great days racing 

Have taken a punt on Whistlejacket and with a bit luck will catch the race on arrival then look forward to a cracker of a Gold Cup which tactics will play a major roll over 4000mt

@ Dave Scott , what feed do you get in SA from Ascot? Is it ITV with Ed Chamberlain as anchor ?

The coverage is another level and matches the horseracing.

As it stands Bookmakers 1 - Punters 1 after Day 2 with a few favourites and well-backed juvenile in the last arriving.

Day 3 looks a good day I will have a small play on following:

Race 1 - Shareholder
Race 2 - Gilded Water in the Royal Colours 
Race 3 - Diamond Rain
Race 4 - Kyprios looks hard to oppose but if anyone can it will be the Mullins trained Vauban
Race 5 - No Selection Large Handicap which is a lottery
Race 6 - Kings Gambit 
Race 7 - No Selection same as Race 5.

Lol ! Yes that's it ! Adele Mulrennan (wife of jock Paul ) was on up until yesterday. Jason Weaver ( ex jock) , Matt Chapman ( clown and a Dave Mollett wannabe! ) , Oli Bell , Luke Harvey (ex jock) and Rishi Persad make up the team with guest appearances from Johnny Murtagh and a few others. The interview with the jock straight after the race whilst still on horseback is brilliant.
