Really ?? !!
Agree it was silly to attempt the second but AB still thought he's beat the throw as he didn't even get the dive in...

Shocking play, wrong decision making, bad shot choice and putting unnecessary pressure on themselves. We need to change de Kock first up he is not in form (move him down the order) but again our talented inform openers are at home.

Time now for Parnell to pay back the faith that the selectors have put in him. Cricket is a funny game so imo SA can still win this even at 148 for 5

Make-up of team is wrong and doesn't give us best opportunity to win in games that matter...reliance on part-timers to fill 5th bowler quota is one problem and we are stuck in processes, structure, etc, etc...even in the Kepler Wessels days we used to bat the first 50 overs of a one day match and then think about accelerating...oops !! Match is only 50 overs !!
Batting first, Amla opens...batting second, send anyone else in to throw the bat to get the run rate to a level that Amla and others can bat normally...
Have a genuine all-rounder in the team so that you have 5 proper bowlers and 1 or 2 part-timers rather than 4 proper bowlers which means that the two part-timers HAVE to perform to keep the score reasonable...I was praying that one of Parnell, Behardien, Russouw or du Plessis get injured so that Wiese can be called out...I'll even take Philander being injured to see Wiese get there and bring balance to the team...otherwise we cannot win this tournament...
Madness is trying the same things and expecting a different result...well, we have been / are there and still continue on the same path...
I'll win the bet I took but my blood runs green and I want SA to win...just cannot see us doing so with the mindset we have...

they are folding like a pack of cards. A team far too reliant on 5/6 players.

Australia beat the Indians with ease
England beat the Indians with ease
SA cannot even bat out their overs against the same Indian side
World Cup Champions? Maybe in marbles.
