that's their problem neigh. They don't have any South Africans in their team. They have got a Zimbabwean and their captain is Irish. Says it all.

No chance of the Australia v Bangladesh match going ahead due to the heavy rain caused by the cyclone. 2 points each.

the bloke that pays the electricity bill at the Wellington stadium should take the entire England team out for a meal as they have saved him plenty by their poor performance as the floodlights were not needed in the day nighter.

Beginning to think it had something to do with demographics / representivity / etc /etc as decision seems less likely to be based on cricketing merits...if we wanted an all-rounder in the team, it could only be Wiese of those recently involved...Albie Morkel was injured but neither did he take the chances when in the team...bowling a real weak-point...
Check Wiese's overall record in all forms of cricket and you have a very good all-round cricketer who is in form which this SA team lacks...my fervent hope is that one or more of Russouw, Behardien, du Plessis or Parnell get injured so that Wiese, if on stand-by gets on the plane...having a genuine all-rounder may just be the difference between a QF exit and a trip to the final where anything can happen...we are half to 1 bowler short and half a batsmen short in the lower order and Wise can fill that gap...too many part-timers and there will be a day when it matters and they don't perform...in my mind, Duminy and Miller have had their match and to expect a repeat is a stretch too far...
Regarding the India match...if we bat first, we could just win it even with Kohl's ability to chase...if we bat second and India score over 275, India to win...

I see that WI just won...brought in a multiple with Juventus to win, Dortmund to win, Newcastle (+3) rugby...5000 more such bets and I'll retire !!!

Could Pakistan be one of the favoured teams in Pool B to fall and fail to be in the top 4? If the Irish beat them again as they did in the 2007 World Cup then the answer to my own question is a resounding yes.

Pakistan have around 9 days to get their act together. I don't see much in this team.

I cannot imagine how the England cricket team will be slated in the media and by their fans if Scotland beat them in their next match. England, on paper, should smash the Scots, but they are low on confidence so this is a great chance for the upset.
