India are dismal in australia..prior to em beating afghan in warm ups and a pakistan side who implode on any surface anywhere in the world they have gone 8 matches losing in aus..

South africa will eat india alive..i love both these teams..india in india SA, Aus, kiwis no chance..india in aus,kiwi, sa and they are shiat plus no dravid, tendulkar these two are th3 only two who could bat anywere aa they proved ind 2003 WC...

This tournament is South Africas to lose imo...even though i wouldv3 loved albie in the aide instead of farhaaan.

The two that you mention were batsman. Warner was a fatty as well who won the WC but he was a spinner. India are going to humble the wilting Proteas . I will definitely be watching the entire match. India have only been poor in Australia because they played against the best side in the world. Playing against the Proteas will be easy.

Australia has a devastating team...but not for me..and i backed them to win 2007 wc as well as 2011. In 2011 dutched with pakistan.lol.

I feel they aremissing a quality spinner and are a decent pace bowler short. Hopefully SA bowling comes good. Am expecting and predicting huge tournaments for tahir and morkel.. morkel can do really well with the paceand bounce he generates...dont overlook the fact that with jp n miller hitting form and the ability of amla to mk 100s in every series and tournament played in along with the most devastating batsmen in world cricket ab... this sa side is a cracking side. How long do you think that Sri Lanka have been playing test cricket. SA were unlucky not too reach the final in 92 because of the poor sportsmanship by the England team when they, orchestrated by Botham, took their time on getting back on the field after the final rain delay. In 96 they lost to the WIndies in the quarter finals and in 99 they chocked big time. At the home World Cup they did not even know how to read the Duckworth Lewis which cost Pollock his job. Durban oke so what did we expect. In 2007 they thought that they could smash the Aussies all over the park in the first 10 overs but found themselves 6 down before they reached 50. After losing their first 2 wickets they should have changed their tactics. But this is SA that we are talking about.

The last World Cup I did not take any interest in so can't comment.

TNaiker, I know the T20 is a different game to the 50 over game but David Wiese gets sold for $466,000 in the IPL and Berhadian and Parnell go unsold. Make one wonder how Wiese could not have been selected for the World Cup.

Looking forward to see if Afghanistan can pull off a win against Bangladesh. Zimbabwe should see off UAE to go ahead of SA in pool B :woohoo:
