Day 1 and you can see it's Australia 1 SA 0

Can't blame the selection just the attitude as they don't seem to be too bothered, no field changes no plan B

THis Micheal Vaughan has never ever got anything good to say about South African cricket, maybe because Smith and the Proteas ended his career by thrashing England

I think i heard somewhere that Domingo's contract has been extended for I think 4 months - why for such a short time - who is going to take over ?

Nobody else applied for the job, except Heineken Meyer............

“As part of the domestic cricket review we are currently evaluating the entire coaching framework in SA and the board believed the best approach at present was to extend the tenure of Mr Domingo until the end of the England tour in 2017‚” Lorgat was quoted as saying.

“This decision is final and is not dependent on the national team review which is currently in progress.”

Not good news imo - under him the Proteas managed to drop from #1 to #5 (I think) in the test ratings - yet his contract gets renewed until the end of 2017 ?

And maybe 'Heineken' may do a better job :P

If I were cricket SA, I would offer Stephen Fleming what ever amount of money he wants.. I rate him as one of the best coaches going around, and im sure he would be interested in a chance to coach an international team.

Proteas unlucky in a way as the Aussies held onto 4 blinders. Any otherday and Cook and Amla get 4 runs and carry on batting. Dismissal of Bavuma was a great catch and he was set. Du Plessis and Philander gave away their wickets. If they cant take at least 4 wickets in the morning session then the best will be a draw as the Aussies will then be looking to put 450 on the board. There wont be the usual cracks in the WACA wicket as its early November as the sun is not at its hottest in Aussie this time of the year. So a good chance to come away with a draw.

Been a great fightback this morning from the boys. Just shows how piss poor we were yesterday. Aussies have a long tail and we have a chance of rolling them very close to what we got... hopefully our knack of not being able to roll the tail end wont come back to bite us in the arse.
