Cricket season

So lets look at SA approach to their time in the field. SA all out 118 with the spinners taking 8 wickets. So what must that tell you? Pitch is a turner. So what do the Proteas do? Open with a spinner? Oh no no we cant go against our principles and open with a spinner, just not the SA way which is to bowl short ball after ball after ball. They will never ever learn as its impossible to get any sense into something that has no idea to change tactics. As for Markam he wont become a great. He will have a good career but will not be a Kallis, Hayden, Lara as some think that he will become. Now Radaba is another kettle of fish. As predicted I said that he will finish up with 600 test wickets. I am going to be wrong on that score as he will finish off with over 700 test wickets.

I disagree with Markram... He is super talented... He will be one of the players of the tournament Cwc '19..... Duminy will be sitting bench....

He plays across the line far too much and you will see the Aussies quicks blitz him. If he scores a 50 in the series i will be pleasantly surprised.

I will even say he will be a better one day player than test player.... Modern day cricket there is no such thing as "what the book says"... Prime example.... Steve Smith... Plays across the line more than any player in world cricket. His average is not to bad

How ridiculous is this, India need 2 to win and they go off for 40 minutes break.

I said a while ago, he is more talented at his age than AB was... I will stick by it... He might not become as flairy as AB, but at this stage of his career, I honestly believe he is more talented...

With regards to the couple runs but 40min break, it's an absolute joke...

But if you want to watch a youngster with more talent than anything is a young indian Shubman Gill (I did post earlier) .... The last time I witnessed someone at that level with that skill, was Virat Kohli... Only difference is Gill seems a lot more composed....

That you indeed did say, this British summer we will see how India performs on English wickets when they come visiting. England have got an almost complete one day side. The jury is still out on Bairstow opening. They have batsman who can score very quickly and bowlers who are all wicket takers. At this stage they have to be favourites to win the WC at home. The Proteas have always been a disappointment in the WCs so cant see anything different next time round.

yep saw him play, very talented and has a wonderful career ahead of him. India churn out great players just like the ABs churn out great rugby players.

The only way England can lose the world cup is between their ears.... As you say, they are the complete Odi side at the moment..... And for the next 5-7 years as they don't have any old ducks in their squad (OK, maybe Morgan)....

Its going to be played from the 30th May to 14th July (same as the 99 world cup) so hopefully there wont be any rain around. I think that most matches will be day matches as its pointless having a day/night match at that time of the year as it only starts getting dusky at 10 at night and dark after 11.

And to add to my strong prediction about England, should Duckworth Lewis effect games, they do have the most explosive batting line up to influence the outcomes... It all points to them....
