depending on Elgar cause if he can stick around for the morning session SA could get to within 50. A huge score from him can swing the match but I doubt it. That last wicket partnership of England have given them the impetus.

Sports in SA is fucked and will remain fucked when politics is the sole reason for appointing a player or management.
We have no world class all-rounder as we have had for years. You sit with great players out of form still playing for your country. They should be playing domestic cricket to regain their form. v Zyl, Amla, Faf, JP and Abbott. Almost half the side.

Give it another 10 tests neigh to gain experience. Look at the Aussies now after all those stalwarts retired. Australia will again be the number 1 side for years to come. OK the WIndies are a joke and should be playing against the likes of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

As for russel domingo was he not Kirstens assistant. SA need a top coach. Look at England, only worth their socks when they have employed a foreign coach. Maybe that's the way to go.

In my experience folk that smoke shit,end up talking shit.

because of the politics the structures are weakened therefore the jump from level to level and especially the last jump from provincial to test level is to big for most normal players ...the players come into the international arena with inflated numbers and a false sense of achievement ..until we choose teams throughout the levels on results only our criclet will continue to detoriate..I have watched provincial cricket for close on 40 years and played club cricket in the early 80s and some of the provincial players I have seen lately wouldn't have made the top club sides of those years..it will only get worse unless our government changes its ways

Pirates, the big problem is at school level where kids are being discriminated against and that in a sport where stats dont lie. These kids either leave the sport dissolutioned or bugger off overseas.
