Because it matters a lot less when you out of the running for the main trophy...think SA in competition for 9th - 16th position when, with the resources we have and the cricketing culture and history we have, we should be competing for cups... :(

TNaicker, as the info CHAMP, how many defending champions of the U19 WC have not been in the top half knock out stage the following tournament? Wouldn't know where to look :lol:

@Karma...try the following page link...hope it helps...about 3/4 way down the page there is a summary "Team Result by tournament"...

Aus won in 2002 and finished 10th in 2004...we on track to match that...no other winner has finished worse than 6th in next tournament...

If they can get 260 then that will do. Tahir will get wickets on this pitch and Morkel has to pitch it up. Radaba will also get wickets so this game will end in a SA win.

CnC if Amla and Faf dont fire AB is under so much pressure to perform. He then plays a unnatural game for the sake of the team. We are very light in the batting department. We need some all-rounders......from where I dont know.
