There's a lessen in here somewhere !!

At the u19 World Cup held in Australia 4 years ago I commentated. The Australian coaching staff was: Head Coach - Greg Chappell, possibly one the best batters in the world and renown coach., Craig McDermot- bowling coach, one of Australia's greatest Test bowlers and experienced coach, Stuart Law, former Aussie ODI player, County And Queensland captain and experienced coach. Here is our U19 coaching staff who took the poor players to Bangladesh. One wonders how many have ever flown over there let alone played a game there. It was doomed to be a disaster as the U19 team have lurched from one poor performance to another. Terribly terribly sad....

Pat Symcox had this to say about our U19 coaching staff. (I cant post the photo of them) Needless to say I have never seen any of them before in my life. What could they possible teach our U19 side ?

I am sure that previously there was a rule that the non-striker would be given a warning before we was allowed to be given out for the same thing. Maybe that was just the general unwritten rule of cricketers (to keep the sportsmanship and good name of cricket in hand).....

The batsman wasn't trying to be cheeky and Nick a couple of feet,the bat was an inch over the line.
The bowler,being a kid needs someone in he's ear to tell him that was a low blow.
I was really enjoying that game,but that was a bad end to the game.

Rules are rules. Just like in baseball u can get caught for trying to steal a base.

Imo is just and out. Many cricketors donot know the rules.

Rules are there and should be abided by, why should only one or two rules be properly enforced but some not?

Agree Sheza.... As the commentator mentioned, I can't remember a NZ bowling attack being convincingly faster than the Aussies... Shit this Milne kid is bowling with some heat....

Just read now that there was a rule inplace the the non striker had to be given a warning first and then a repeat of the incident would result in him being out. This has since changed and no warning is required.

Kapil Dev once did the same to Peter Kirsten...
