I watched the game at Sibaya (outside Durban) yesterday with a few of my mates and 2 from ABC.

As a United supporter, I am happy with the improved form during the last month. The team is still far from the finished article. We still need 2 quality central defenders and possibly an attacking midfielder. If not an attacking midfielder then a striker will do. I am of the opinion that Rooney lacks bite or is trying too hard causing little mishaps like losing the ball or feet getting stuck etc. Hopefully United will be more competitive next season.

BTW. .. I must add that we United supporters got a lot of stick in the first 20 minutes from some "red shirted" fans sitting with the Blues fans. With 20 minutes to go in the game, they had all disappeared leaving us in peace.

I am not sure... is that termed "plastic fans". Maybe C&C can educate me wrt that.

deeno you are correct in saying that they need 2 defenders etc. Di Maria, RVP and Falcao will be on their merry way next month. It appears that Hummels will be joining your club. De Gea maybe on his way to Real Madrid. Next season United and Arsenal are the two teams to watch.
