Euro 2016

So, anyone going to be following Euro 2016?

If you interested in the squads, nice list I was looking at today: www.theguardian.com/football/ng-interact...ery-player-in-france

Groups and schedule: www.bbc.com/sport/football/european-cham...schedule/group-stage

Fancy France to win it on home soil. Good looking squad. I have some doubts on some of the defenders (mainly on pace) and would have chosen Kevin Gameiro and Alexandre Lacazette over Giroud and Gignac - but still a hard squad to beat.

Hollywood has France at 3/1 favourites.

Had a look at the Group Qualification market - short prices as expected since the four best third-ranked sides also qualify for the last 16.

A better market might be the Group Winners. Going to take a punt on Iceland to win Group F - 5/1 with Hollywood. Look really good in qualifiers and would back them against Austria and Hungary. Would be tougher against the Portuguese, but I'm going to hope for an upset.

England have 90% of Scotland behind them, would be one big party north of the border if England win it.

Some iconic memories

Denmark replaced Wartorn Yugoslavia at the last minute to win in 1992

Greece on scored 5 goals in 2004, the tournament snorable

England have never made the final , even though they think they are magic, however they did beat Scotland once

Germany have won 3 times but only once as Germany

France have been good in build up to the Euro's , should be able to reach deep into comp... England, will struggle to score while Rooney is on the park, so if he plays every minute of every game, I dont see them going past the quarters..... Germany have not been up to their isual standard, but I expect them to bounce back to usual excellence.... I still think Italy is not a team to write off. They not going to tear a team to pieces scoring 5+ goals, however they are not an easy team to beat in knockout games so I havent written them off.... my outsider bet is Croatia... they really do not have a bad looking squad and before their 10-0 win (granted against horrid opposition), have sailed somewhat under the radar.... I think they are going to be raising a few eyebrows come the later stages of this tournament......
