One of the positives to take out of the match is Rhule had a perfect 100% for tackles on the kick offs.... Missed all of them....

Rhule should not have been the one chasing. After the first kick failed they should have gone short but the Boks are so one dimensional so we could not expect anything else

The match, the 94th clash between the two nations, was one to forget for the South Africans in every respect and saw last year's record margin of defeat in Durban - 57-15 - well and truly smashed...............not many positives from that imo...............!!!
i dont hate the boks, i am one of there most die hard fans, I have travelled to Argentina to watch them, to Australia, France, Italy and NZ and watch them in the UK whenever i can get a ticket. No more. I am one of their biggest critics but i certainly dont hate them.

If I were the coaching staff, I would resign .... the fact that they can't even get a relatively simple thing like a throw-in to the line-outs right, shows me that there is no coaching / practising of the basics; even when Meyer was coach we did not have much on attack, nowadays we still do not have a lot to show on attack, but we seem to have lost the plot regarding the basics .... if we stick with the same 'game plan' I predict a loss against the Aussies in Bloem

every single player in the team were outplayed, the lineouts were pathetic, defence was nonwhere, poor without any plan in attack. Coach out of his depth v All Blacks who are light years ahead of every other team. (maybe England can give them a game, but they are only playing each other next year). SA problems are not selection, its tactics.

The Proteas, with the exception of one Test were comprehensively beaten by England.
The Cape Verde Islands, with a population the size of Durban, were able to beat Bafana Bafana-twice!
New Zealand who have more sheep than people, annihilated the Boks.
Not happy days. :S

a very sad state our sports teams are in at the moment.our soccer team i don't see any improvement because they are just clueless, but our rugby team can improve if our clueless ministers just butt out and select the best managers/coaches for the job and let the selection of players be on merit and not quotas.our cricket is in a good state and has potential to be number 1 in all formats

the problem with the Proteas is that they dont play enough games. India, England and Sri Lanka are forever playing and that only improves them. The rugby team need a coach who is foreign. No buddy buddy and will apply the best tactics for the team even if it means dropping players. The football has always been rather pathetic. Three yards forward then they go backwards with the ball then play a trick or two then go in a circle and the crowd goes wild. They too need a coach who will actually coach them and drop players who dont pull their weight. On a positive the ladies Netball team look very competitive and Wayde van Niekerk and Castor Simenya are both world champs and very much world class.
