The statistics of the foreign born rugby players in each team. An amazing read:
It's called "Every 'Foreign Born' Player at the Rugby World Cup 2023".
The 2023 Rugby World Cup has kicked off and is in full swing with some great results, namely and including France's win over New Zealand.
All rugby players dream to one day represent their country on the biggest stage, however it is quite a common occurance to see players run out for nations, that are different to their place of birth. These 'foreign born' players can often be integral parts of an international set-up, with each Rugby World Cup match set to portray a diverse landscape, that encapsulates the global game. Of course a player can represent a country by ancestry or residency, but it still makes a good read just to see how many players make up a certain team who are 'foreign born'.
Let's meet them:
The only two nations that do not have any 'foreign born' players in their teams/squads are SOUTH AFRICA and Argentina!
New Zealand: 9

France beat the ABs and will beat Namibia and Uruguay
ABs will beat the latter two and Italy
Italy have already beaten Namibia and will beat Uruguay
Here’s the twist
France play Italy in the last match of the group. They field their weakest team and Italy beat them and in the process knock the ABs out
Lovely

I might be a bit dof, but should Italy beat France in the scenario you put forward, then NZ would have lost only one game, as would France and Italy - not sure of the rules, but as NZ beat Italy, NZ would go through ? And should France lose to Italy, Italy would go through ?
