I am so angry seeing this - Bad people with hidden agendas - Now we have the great Kim and Vaal sand tracks thanks to these people

the last i heard no developement has taken place on the newmarket course...is it pure coincidence that 2 courses phukelela has sold to enrich themselves and certain individuals have had zero developement on them?

Thanks for the pictures..... first went there in the 1960's when I did national service in Bloem......was sand track then!!!!!!!!Still looks in better condition than PE......

sad sad sad..... i remember fondly of hitting my biggest exacta win & it was a bloemmies meeting.... cant remember the horses names but i know spies trained the winner....... exacta paid R584.50...... i'll never forget that amount.....

I find it sadder to see it like that than if it had disappeared completely, like Gosforth Park. Let's face it, from those pics it doesn't look as if it would take a massive amount of work to get it raceable again, although we don't have any pics of the actual track.
